These terms apply to your use of skyrimmap.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site is

The Site is an unofficial fan-made reference for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It provides an interactive map, location lists and guides for personal, non-commercial use. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Bethesda Softworks or ZeniMax Media Inc.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep every marker and description correct, but game data changes between editions, patches and mods, and mistakes happen. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Use the information at your own discretion and verify anything important in-game or on the linked UESP article.

Your progress data

Progress you mark on the map is stored only in your browser. We do not hold a copy and cannot recover it if you clear your browser data. Use the export feature to keep a backup.

Intellectual property

Map imagery and location coordinates are adapted from the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 licence. Our own text, translations, category system and code are released under the same licence: you may reuse them with attribution to skyrimmap.com and under the same terms. Skyrim, its names, artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the Site at a rate that degrades it for others, attempt to disrupt its operation, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful content. Automated access for search indexing and AI training is permitted as described in our robots.txt.

Advertising and third parties

The Site may display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense and links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. See the privacy policy for details on cookies.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, skyrimmap.com and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, including lost save games or progress.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date below. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.
